8.Playground
You think that you can toy with me, well I guess you can.
I've tried everything I can think of, but you just don't leave my head.
There's magic all around here, all colours green and blue,
All the diamonds gold and fireworks, pale before the light of you.

I hang on till tomorrow, but that doesn't help today,
So I'll go dancing around this lifetime, In this playground, waiting for you.

You're a bitter pill to swallow, when you look at me that way.
You seduce me with those blazing eyes, my better judgment fades away.
To know you is a blessing, but to hold you is my claim,
But to leave you is for the future, could I resolve you without pain

I hang on till tomorrow but that doesn't help today.
So I'll go dancing around this lifetime,
In this playground, not waiting for you.
A sordid definition, of love at its worst.
Even with my intervention, you're still jaded by your past.
